This Finnish handmade hunting knife and outdoor knife was originally developed as a hunting knife for moose hunters in Finland and quickly became the perfect companion for handling larger game such as moose, wild boar and larger deer. The design and profile of the blade makes it excellent for skinning game.
Comes in a handmade sheath of dark vegetable tanned Finnish leather, with a metal spring to always keep the knife securely in place.
I was so happy to hear that they were coming out with a true full tang outdoor/hunting knife! This handle is extremely well balanced and could truly be "one knife for life" This is the knife and plain sheath for those who did not need the fire striker.

I purchased the fire kit a few weeks ago to throw in my backpack and have been really impressed. The ferro rod and striker work amazingly well, it throws sparks far better than my store-bought Coghlan’s Magnesium Fire Starter. The included wick and bellows are a great touch. once you fluff the fibers a bit it lights up easily and maintains a flame . i will supplement some of my own tinder to store in tin for later as the "tipi" is only single use
